When illuminated from within, the screen-printed ink blocks portions of the light, creating a highly detailed interplay of vibrant colors, graphic silhouettes, and glowing ambient textures.
Structural & Design Features
- Handmade Screen Prints: The geometric or bohemian motifs (like paisley, florals, or traditional mandalas) are pulled by hand using ink screens across raw sheets of thick paper before cutting.
- The 7-Point Geometry: Unlike common 5-point stars, the 7-point variation flares into a slightly wider, more circular orb-like geometry. This allows more room for the internal bulb to breathe safely away from the paper sides.
- Light-Filtering Cutouts: Many screened designs are paired with small laser-cut or punch-out holes along the printed lines. These tiny pinpricks project points of pure light across the walls, mimicking a night constellation.
- Collapsible Construction: They ship entirely flat in a thin sleeve. To install, you simply open the star like an accordion, insert a light kit protected by a small safety cage, and pull the attached drawstrings tight to lock the points into place.
